Regenerative Agriculture | Indigenous Roots & Transformative Futures
A conversation between chef Dan Barber and coffee agroforestry leader Eko Purnomowidi. Moderated by the Rainforest Alliance’s Jungwon Kim.

If you feel like you’re suddenly hearing the word “regenerative” all the time, you’re not wrong! But what does it really mean? Please join us as we host a conversation with Eko Purnomowidi Founder and Senior Adviser of Klasik Beans Cooperative, and Chef Dan Barber, Executive Chef and Co-Owner of Blue Hill. We will be deep diving into the importance of regenerative agriculture and discussing respectfully applying and adapting traditional ecological agricultural knowledge on a wide scale that is critical to healing our land.

For more than 30 years, the Rainforest Alliance has worked to make agriculture more sustainable by partnering with farmers and forest communities all over the world to use methods that protect the land as well as their livelihoods. We consider sustainability to be a journey—and for us, the destination is the regeneration.
